What is a Concierge Service?
A Concierge Service attends to the needs of a person or group of people from a remote location. Typically involves administering appointments and reminders, researching major purchases and/or just about anything desired by the client. An exceptional Concierge will anticipate the needs and preferences of the client and be prepared to make additional resources available that meet their needs and will improve their lives.
Some examples of Concierge Services:
- Scheduling, confirming, changing, or cancelling appointments and/or reservations of all kinds.
- Providing reminder for important birthdays, anniversaries, professional dates, appointments and events.
- Arranging for services needed around the home or office such as emergency repairs, computer services, family services and visiting clients/family.
- Home or family support services.
- Planing and arranging a vacation or weekend getaway.
- Almost anything else legal and ethical.
What is a Personal Assistant (Personal Ambassador)?
Rather than address a clients needs from a remote location, a Personal Ambassador personal assistant actually travels to various locations on behalf of the client to attend to their needs. Known as ‘personal assistants’ by most providers. Time in the City’s Personal Ambassadors consider themselves ‘emissaries’ of the clients we represent, and conduct themselves only in a manner that reflects most positively on the client.
Some examples of Personal Ambassador Services:
- Pay ticket(s) in court.
- Maintaining groceries and consumables in the client’s home or office.
- Taking clients vehicle in for inspection/maintenance appointment while your at work or elsewhere, returning it to you at desired location.
- Transporting clients and luggage to and from airports, railway terminals, hotels, meeting sites, medical appointments, special events.
- Shopping and gifting purchases for friends, relatives, business clients and associates.
- House sitting/home watch care during extended time away from home.
- Place in-line holding for important events.
- Almost anything else legal and ethical.
